At Project Terra, spaces are not just built—they are shaped by experiences, memories, and time.

We don’t just build. We listen, respond, and belong.

Project Terra® is a multidisciplinary architectural practice driven by a deep commitment to context, craft, and community. Founded by Rutvi Patel and Jay Patel, the studio was born from a desire to design spaces that resonate—not only functionally, but emotionally and culturally.

We believe that architecture is not about imposition—it’s about response.
To land. To memory. To material. To people.

What We Do
Architecture | Design | Rural & Urban

From rural public spaces to high-end residences, from conservation studies to academic studios—our work spans geographies, typologies, and timelines. What remains constant is our intent: to create spaces that are grounded in their setting and generous in their purpose.
We collaborate with artisans, engineers, ecologists, and communities—designing in layers, documenting with care, and building with integrity.

A CEPT University graduate, Rutvi blends global experience with local wisdom—from working with Renzo Piano in Paris to conservation projects across India. She leads Project Terra®’s design vision, grounding each project in place, memory, and meaning. Her approach is shaped by quiet observation, both in architecture and life.

At Project Terra®, we are a collective of architects, makers, and storytellers committed to building with care, purpose, and place. Our work is grounded in the belief that architecture is not just about structures—it’s about people, landscapes, memory, and continuity.

Our team culture values listening, collaboration, and presence. We don’t chase trends; we respond to context—with hands in the soil, ears to the ground, and hearts rooted in the local. From detailed documentation to hands-on execution, we believe in working slowly, thoughtfully, and honestly.
